Taylor Farm Park
New Albany, Ohio
Set within 97 acres of preserved green space, Taylor Farm Park offers a unique blend of recreation, environmental stewardship, and community connection. Once a working farm dating back to the 1800s, the park has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern outdoor destination that highlights both its natural beauty and its agricultural heritage. Visitors are welcomed by an extensive network of scenic walking trails—spanning over 2 miles miles—that wind through new wetlands, wooded areas, a bespoke bird blind shelter, and new playground. Elevated boardwalks, pedestrian bridges, guide guests across sensitive ecosystems, providing immersive views of native plants and wildlife. While employed with a previous firm, Karla Salmans served as project manager and was responsible for landscape architectural design services from park master planning through construction completion of Phase 1.
