Karla has been practicing landscape architecture for over 11 years. Her portfolio spans both public and private sectors, with projects varying in size and scope. Large-scale work includes private development, urban design, municipal pools, and corporate campuses. Her small-scale work focuses on neighborhood playgrounds and high-end residential. Her design process centers around client objectives and how they are translated into a contextually-sensitive and meaningful space. In 2022, Karla resigned from her senior leadership role to expand SITE 560 into a fulltime design studio.
